House Description: Journey into legendary rocker Alice Cooper’s twisted mind and witness the natural melding of horror and Cooper’s four decades-long career. Here you will follow Steven, the iconic character from many of Cooper’s works, as you come face to face with a myriad of tormentors who threaten an already-decaying sense of sanity.

House #2 Name: Penn & Teller New(KD) Las Vegas in 3D

House Location: Sprung Tent 2

House Description: World-renowned magicians Penn & Teller have accidentally nuked Las Vegas, but don’t worry, it’s nothing a fresh coat of paint and a truckload of BS can’t fix. Come on down to New Vegas, where all that glitters isn’t gold, and in fact probably has fatal levels of radioactivity.

Featured 3 "Guest Activated Triggers:

1. Red Button leaving "clean room" triggered alarm and fog effect.

2. Pull The Rope in the Honeymoon Suite caused bed to vibrate.

3. A series of buttons could be found in the room following the "buffet". Guests could watch through a 2 way mirror as they triggered gags in the buffet room. One effect was the sensation that "rats" were crawling around the legs of those in the buffet. A final trigger backfired with a spray of water in the direction of the button pusher!

House #3 Name: Gothic

House Location: Sound Stage 20A (SS20A)

House Description: The Catedral de Caementum Animus is, by day, undergoing a building-wide architectural refurbishment. By night, the many stone gargoyles that keep watchful eye over the sanctuary come to life with the mission of protecting this sacred place against intrusion.

House #4 Name: Dead End

House Location: Sound Stage 20B (SS20B)

House Description: If enough people believe in something, perception can become reality. In Carey, Ohio, the perception was that countless horrific acts had occurred in the old Hartford Mansion. The reality was that the curse which befell the house was far worse than any story ever told. No "guest activate trigger" prior to the vortex! The red button is an emergency stop button!

House #5 Name: Welcome To Silent Hill

House Location: Sound Stage 22 (SS22)

House Description: In the eerie and desolate town of Silent Hill, ash falls from the sky and the physical laws of nature no longer apply. If you dare to venture into this alternate dimension, there is only one law of nature with which you must concern yourself: survival.

House Description: This is no remake. No sequel. No re-imagining. These are Universal’s classic monsters of fear, who have terrified audiences from the Silver Screen. Halloween Horror Nights 22 will offer a completely reinvented street experience… They will find you and invade your personal space like never before. There will be no boundaries. The rules of the past will no longer apply. Roaming legions of menacing beasts, vampires, prisoners, warriors and more will inhabit every corner of the park. There is no escape!!

As you make your way through the dark and sinister streets—beware. Someone is watching your every move. The Legions of Horror have ripped and clawed their way out of the ground from an ancient buried cemetery long kept secret. They’ll move silently throughout the night, never staying in one place too long. Don’t bother trying to avoid them. They WILL get you.

The Iniquitus

Location: Central Park

Rooted in evil these are the patrons of death, and were the first to rise from the cemetery. They’ve summoned the Dark Legions to join them in a night of carnage as they feast upon the living.

Dark Legions: Vampires/Strengoit

Location: Hollywood

Summoned by The Iniquitus, the creatures of the night are here to quench their undying thirst. They lurk in the shadows, listening for fresh blood pulsing inside your living veins.

Dark Legions: Traditionals/Morphan

Location: KidZone

These aren’t the fiends from your childhood books. These are the fears that creep inside your dreams. Brought forth by The Iniquitus, these ghosts and goblins have teeth—and they’re hungry.

Dark Legions: Prisoners/Maschorian

Location: World Expo Area

At a brutal women’s prison, fire scorched the inmates alive and the charred convicts were trapped between life and death—until now. The Iniquitus have released them and they’re going to kill everyone in their path. Their chainsaws are churning and they’re coming for you.

Dark Legions: Warriors/Baccanoid

Location: San Francisco

Slaughtered in a deadly battle, the Warriors have been brought back from the dead by The Iniquitus. Seeking their bloodthirsty revenge, they move under a cloak of darkness. So beware—that’s not a breeze on the back of your neck.

Location: Sting Alley

The Iniquitus have commanded these grotesque predators to hunt you down. Silently they’ll stalk you…all night long, until they have you surrounded and there’s nowhere left to hide.

The Walkers/Kerezan legion was near the exit to The Walking Dead. This legion in not listed in the park guide....however....they are represented in the Horror Unearthed Game as the "Kerezan Tribe".

May 17, 2012 - Notice of Commencement Documents filed with Orange County Comptroller at approx. 10:20 AM. Building permits for 7 locations appear on City of Orlando permit site at approx. 2:50 PM.

Monday, June 4, 2012 (@ Noon) - HHN 21 website goes dark and is replaced with the HHN 22 information placeholder website. Official dates are included.

Thursday, June 14, 2012 - Tickets go on sale mid-afternoon. Single Night tickets are $89.99.

Monday, June 18th - First HHN 2012 email is sent to registered HHN fans.

Friday, June 29th - Building 44 permit withdrawn from HHN 22 project due to demolition of B44.

Saturday, July 14th - Silent Hill is announced as the first maze for 2012 at the San Diego Comic Con.

Monday, July 16th - HHN Orlando website updated with Silent Hill information. Press release is posted on Media Site.

Tuesday, July 24th - Alice Cooper email sent to registered HHN fans. A NEW building permit for SS44 (Herc & Xena) surfaces.

Thursday, July 26th - Single night express options are available on the official HHN ticket website.

Thursday, August 2nd - Annual Passholder Newsletter is emalied to Annual Passholders. The dates for HHN 2012 Annual Passholder Nights are revealed!

Friday, August 3rd - The 4th maze for HHN 2012 is revealed to be "Penn & Teller: New(kd) Vegas". The website is updated and an email is sent to registered HHN fans.

Week of August 20th - The RIP Tour, Unmasking The Horror Tour and Archane Insights Tour information is added to the main website.

Friday, August 24th - HHN Orlando Facebook page announces the "full reveal" of HHN 22 information: "HHN Fans, the countdown has started. On 8/30 all will be revealed, and there’s no turning back…"

Monday, August 27th - HHN Orlando Facebook page announces a Facebook/E-Mail contest. Winners will receive "clues" about the remaining unannounced HHN mazes. Winners will also have a chance to win an advance preview of a HHN maze!! 5 Clues are sent via email and a 6th is posted on the HHN Facebook page.

Tuesday, August 28th - Round #2 of the Facebook/E-mail contest. More clues are revealed and contest winners are emailed.

Tuesday, August 28th (10:01 PM) - HHNCrypt receives a phone call from Universal Orlando's HHN. It is a cryptic, creepy message. It appears to say, "Happy Halloween....You cannot escape centuries of horror. Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights....All will be revealed soon."

Wednesday, August 29th - Contest winners preview a HHN 22 maze. HHNCrypt receives another creepy phone message at 1:01 PM.

Thursday, August 30th - As the clock turns transitions from 8/29 into 8/30 the majority of the event details are revealed to the public via Facebook. No website reveal occurred!!

Thursday, August 30th - The start of the business day brought the full HHN 22 website. We also received the RSVP link for the Annual Passholder Events. Various press releases hit the media website. Teasers for the reveal of the official commercial begin. Dark Legions: Walkers is removed from the Street Experiences on the main HHN website.

Thursday, August 30th - HHNCrypt receives a 3rd phone call at 10:31 AM.

Friday, August 31st - Official HHN 2012 Commercial is released on the Official HHN Facebook page.

Friday, September 7th - Interesting Facebook Post: "HHN fans, check this out: for his excitement and passion to HHN, super fan Joey James will be attending an exclusive preview of The Walking Dead house for HHN22. Joey will get to walk through the house with Greg Nicotero, Co-Executive Producer & Special Effects Make-Up Artist for AMC’s The Walking Dead, as well as speak to the creators of HHN22 about this year’s event. Look out for updates starting tomorrow evening, as Joey gets the inside scoop on this year’s event."

Wednesday, September 12th - Media Preview Event

Thursday, September 20th - Select Media Outlets receive package containing a decapitated head....which required a bit of surgery!

Friday, September 21st - HHN 22 Opens! Media Reception held at The Pantages Theater. Penn & Teller make an appearance at the reception and in their house!

Horror UNEARTED game comes online. There are a few website issues before the game officially launches. (Additional Games and Tasks became active throughout the run of HHN 22.) The game allows users to select a team (tribe) that corresponds with one of the Dark Legions in this year's street experience. A passcard is obtained in the park and players earn points online and by completing "in park" tasks. Players were given a chance to "Meet The Masters" where they got a glimpse of books that hold he history and backstory of each legion.

There are other "mysterious tribes" yet to be named!

Saturday, September 22nd - Horror UNEARTHED kiosk is open at the park. Players can activate their passcards at the kiosk.

September 22nd was also the 6th Annual Youtube Halloween Horror Nights Meetup. Guests were allowed to film inside all of the houses!

October 6th - Gloria Estefan joined forces with other scareactors to terrify unsuspecting guests walking the streets of HHN22.

October 13th - The two bad boys of magic made a special appearance within their haunted house Penn & Teller New(kd) Las Vegas.

October 31st - HHN 2012 concludes. Gothic is "House of the Year" and the Beasts Legion (Cerebin) is "Street of the Year".
